Before you buy

Does my phone support eSIM?

Dial *#06# on your phone. If you see an EID (a long number starting with 89), your phone supports eSIM. It also needs to be unlocked, not tied to one network.

Ask us about your model

Apple

iPhone XR, XS and every newer iPhone (11 to 16 series, SE 2020 and later). iPads with cellular from 2018 onward.

Samsung

Galaxy S20 and newer S series, Z Fold and Z Flip, Note 20, and some recent A series models.

Google

Pixel 3 and every newer Pixel (some Pixel 3 models sold in certain countries excluded).

Others

Many 2020-and-later flagships from Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei, Sony and others. Ask us your model.

General guidance only: some models sold in certain countries (for example mainland China and Hong Kong versions) don't support eSIM. Plans can't be refunded because a phone is incompatible or locked.

Install guide

Installing your eSIM takes a few minutes

Install it while you're still on Wi-Fi at home, then switch it on for data when you land.

Keep your QR code private: anyone with it may be able to install your plan. Need help? WhatsApp us and we'll walk you through it.

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi. Open Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM.
  2. Choose Use QR Code and scan your QR code from another screen. On the same iPhone, tap Enter Details Manually and paste the activation code.
  3. Label it (for example "Travel") and keep your usual line for calls and SMS if you like.
  4. When you arrive, set the travel eSIM for Mobile Data and turn on Data Roaming for it.

FAQ

eSIM questions

What is an eSIM and how does it work?

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic SIM, you scan a QR code (or enter an activation code) and the data plan installs in a few minutes. There's no SIM tray, no card and nothing to post.

Will an eSIM work on my phone?

Most recent iPhones, Google Pixels and Samsung Galaxy phones support eSIM, as long as the phone isn't locked to one network. On iPhone, check Settings → General → About for 'Digital SIM'. On Android, look for 'Add eSIM' under Settings → Connections or Network.

When should I install it?

You can install it before you travel. Most plans start counting days when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination country; the plan details say when yours starts.

How do I pay?

In Naira, by card or bank transfer, through our secure payment partner. We never see or store your card details.

Will my Nigerian SIM still work alongside the eSIM?

Yes. On dual-SIM phones your Nigerian line (MTN, Airtel, Glo or 9mobile) stays active for calls and texts while the travel eSIM handles data abroad. You don't lose your number or swap anything out.

What if my eSIM doesn't work after installing it?

WhatsApp us on +234 902 730 1128 and we'll troubleshoot with you. Most problems (data roaming switched off, the wrong line chosen for mobile data, or APN settings) take a few minutes to fix.

Can I top up or extend my plan?

Check your remaining data from your order page, then WhatsApp us your ICCID (it's on your order page and in your email) and we'll suggest the plans available for your eSIM.

Why buy from ENB Technologies instead of a global app?

You pay in Naira with no dollar card, and you get support from a Nigerian team on WhatsApp who can also help with your phone or laptop if you ever need it.

Can I get a refund?

If your eSIM can't be delivered, or the provider fails, you get a refund. Once the QR code or activation details have been delivered, the plan can't be refunded. See our Refund Policy for details.

Refunds are explained in our Refund Policy.
